That's all well and good if i wanted to trigger EVERY error that happens but frankly some is just white noise especially during a backup process, etc. However if they just change the view that the alerts pull from to add more columns into the views the alerting can be more granular. That also leads me into another question if i change one of the views and add a new column will it show up in the advanced alert manager because if so that just might be my answer there.
